LEUCADENDRON

Leucadendron salignum

loo-ca-DEN-dron sal-LIG-num

Description

This simple-yet-fiery shrub with South African roots is a longtime favorite among designers and gardeners alike. Commonly referred to as conebush, Leucadendron is an evergreen shrub that is admired for its long vase life, low maintenance and striking foliage in vibrant tones of burgundy, red and yellow.

A member of the Proteaceae ( Protea ) family, the Leucadendron genus consists of over 80 species of plants, all of which are endemic to South Africa. They typically grow up to great heights, ranging from four foot tall shrubs to 30 foot tall trees, though a majority of species are of a tamer size at 30 cm tall. Their stems are covered in long and oblong, waxy-green leaves that are often flushed in red or yellow. Also, what are commonly thought of as Leucandendron “flowers” are in fact heads consisting of woody, brightly-colored bracts (which may surround a small cone or flower). Leucadendron is dioecious, meaning male and female flowers are born on separate plants. In female plants these bracts surround a cone (about 16 mm in diameter) that contains seeds, which makes an attractive accent at the stems’ tops. This seeded head is called an infructescence and will vary in form based on the genus’ subgeneric groupings.

Leucadendron cultivars and hybrids grown for the cut flower trade are used primarily as decorative cut greens—not so much as “flowers.” Their impressive stems and unique floral cones are prized by designers, especially for arrangements that need a burst of texture and volume. They also boast an incredibly long vase life, typically ranging from 14 to 25 days. By far, the most demanded Leucadendron cultivar by floral artisans worldwide is 'Safari Sunset', which is a hybrid of L. laureolum and L. salignum types. Developed in New Zealand in the 1960s, this hardy, multi-stemmed shrub features deep-red and green bracts extending from long stems (which can grow up to 243 cm), making it an excellent variety for large arrangements and seasonal displays. Today, newer hybrids in novel colors and shapes are being bred in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and California.

Leucadendron plants’ attractive foliage is a floral designer’s dream. Their leaves offer color, texture and longevity to grand floral displays and fall/winter arrangements. Pair Leucadendron with other succulents, ornamental grasses or pines for a rustic, natural look. Or, for a tropical twist, combine Leucadendron with exotic blooms in bold color palettes; you’re sure to draw some attention! It also makes an exceptional garden or landscape ornamental, as it is relatively low maintenance and can survive in harsh, drought-prone environments.

Colors:  Red, green, burgundy, yellow, orange, silver

Special Care

Select long, vibrant stems with healthy, well-developed cones (in female plants) that are not tightly closed. Ensure foliage is unmarked and does not show signs of blackening or browning, which can be common in Leucadendron leaves.

When processing, strip only the foliage that falls below the water line. Recut stems about 2.5 cm at an angle (45-degrees) and hydrate them in water mixed with a floral preservative (with sugar and a biocide) for at least two hours before storage or use in floral work. Although not required, stems can be recut under running water or in a bowl of clean water. Cutting under water may reduce the risk of air pockets forming at the stems’ base and allows them to absorb water right away.

Cut stems can be stored for up to 14 days at 32–36°F (0–2°C) and a relative humidity of 90%. Avoid overcrowding stems in storage to prevent botrytis or other diseases. Also make sure to keep stems away from direct heat sources, as this can cause leaf blackening.

The genus name is derived from the Greek words “ leukos ” (meaning white) and “ dendron ” (meaning tree). This likely refers to the subtle, silvery-white undertones that decorate the foliage of some Leucadendron species. Leucadendron plants, however, are most commonly recognized by their showy, leaf-like bracts in fiery burgundy, red, yellow and orange tones.

Leucadendron plants are dioecious, meaning they have distinct male and female plants. In female plants, the stem’s bracts surround a central cone-like structure that contains seeds. Because of this cone, female types are typically preferred by designers.

The 'Safari Sunset' cultivar is so beloved in the floral industry, it has been awarded with the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society in the U.K.

A native of the exotics of South Africa and Australia, several Leucadendron cultivars, such as 'Flame Tip' (yellow bracts) and 'Safari Sunset' (burgundy bracts), are named in honor of their homelands.

Due to habitat loss in certain native regions, some Leucadendron species have been listed as endangered in the wild.

Leucadendron plants can quite possibly be regarded as the “giants” of the shrub world. The genus includes a large group of plants that range from 122 cm shrubs to 30 foot tall trees! Specifically, the 'Silver Tree' cultivar is known for reaching these 25 to 30 foot ranges.

Leucadendron  plants are relatives of  Protea,  Macadamia  and  Banksia.

Leucadendron can be used to convey an appreciation for life’s simplicities, or even to pay a compliment. Many also use Leucadendron in sympathy arrangements to honor a loved one.

Gardening 101: Leucadendrons

Start typing to search..., leucadendron, protea: “ problem solver”.

Native to South Africa, Leucadendrons are evergreen shrubs and tall trees (like the towering ‘Silver Tree’, which reaches heights of 25 feet)  and are related to other stellar plants such as Banksias, Grevilleas, and Leucospermums. Most of the Leucadendrons that I plant in my clients’ gardens are of a tamer size, such ‘Pisa’ or ‘Safari Sunset’, which grow to a height of from 4 to 8 feet.

Cheat Sheet

  • Leucadendrons are grown for their cone-like flowers that are stellar, long- lasting cut flowers. They even survive in my vase long after the water has dried up. Leucadendrons also like to be pruned hard to produce a nicer shape so this is a complete win-win.
  • Grow in full sun for the best color and fullness and plant with other low-water plants.  However, don’t allow the plant to touch other shrubs because it needs good air circulation.
  • Hardy? Well, only a few survive in temperatures below 20 degrees F.. So consider these semi-tropical specimens.

Keep It Alive

  • Leucadendrons despise wet feet and soggy soil, causing them near instant death. To avoid this, plant them on a slope or mound.
  • When planting, try not to disturb the roots too much.
  • Fertilizing isn’t really needed, but if the plant seems stunted then make sure to avoid high phosphorous fertilizers. Another instant killer.

Introduction

As I delve into the world of gardening, one particular plant has captured my heart and become a staple in both my garden and floral arrangements – the enchanting Leucadendron Safari Sunset. This multi-stemmed evergreen shrub, adorned with rich, deep-red bracts, has not only impressed florists and gardeners but has also found a special place in my horticultural journey. Join me as I share my personal experiences, insights, and the intimate connection I’ve developed with this award-winning beauty.

Encountering the Radiance: Leucadendron Safari Sunset Overview

According to my actual experience, Leucadendron Safari Sunset stands out with its spectacular display of deep-red bracts that emerge at the tips of exceptionally long stems, reaching over 3 feet. The vibrant show continues into the fall and winter, when these bracts can be picked and added to floral arrangements. Witnessing the opening of the female flowers in late winter, revealing a cream center, adds another layer of beauty to this already mesmerizing shrub.

The foliage of Safari Sunset is a masterpiece in itself – narrow, leathery, and dark green leaves tinged with a captivating hint of red. As the bracts rise above this foliage, the contrast creates a visual symphony that adds charm to any garden or vase arrangement.

A Garden Marvel: Growing and Caring for Leucadendron Safari Sunset

In my gardening escapades, I discovered that this Leucadendron is not just a feast for the eyes; it’s also a resilient and versatile plant. Growing upright to a height of 8-10 feet and spreading 6-8 feet wide, it can serve as an excellent choice for screens, hedges, or as a striking specimen plant. However, I learned that if left unpruned, the plant may tend to become straggly. Pruning, therefore, is essential to maintain a dense, bushy habit.

The plant’s preference for sandy, acidic, well-drained soils in full sun surprised me. Leucadendron Safari Sunset is not only easily grown but also proves to be tolerant of poor soils. My experiences also affirmed its resistance to heat and drought once established, making it a low-maintenance gem in water-wise gardens. Additionally, its deer resistance further adds to its appeal.

Awards and Accolades: The Royal Horticultural Society’s Stamp of Approval

I couldn’t help but be proud of my Leucadendron Safari Sunset as I discovered that it holds the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. This accolade not only acknowledges its aesthetic appeal but also emphasizes its resilience and suitability for various garden settings.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Cape Mountain Flora (@capemountainflora)

Blooms of Endurance: Floral Arrangements and Longevity

One of the most delightful surprises for me was the plant’s versatility in floral arrangements. Placing the vibrant bracts in a vase not only extended the life of the Leucadendron but also contributed to the creation of spectacular floral displays. The longevity of the cut stems added a unique charm to my home, making Safari Sunset an enduring favorite in my floral design endeavors.

Cultivation Wisdom: Nurturing Leucadendron Safari Sunset

To ensure the thriving health of my Leucadendron Safari Sunset, I followed a few key cultivation practices. The plant, native to South Africa, may survive outdoors in the mildest areas with poor, free-draining soil and a warm, sunny position. However, in less favorable conditions, growing it in a warm greenhouse with the right soil mix becomes essential. I opted for a blend of peat-substitute, grit or perlite, and lime-free compost.

Pruning emerged as a crucial step after flowering in spring, not only to maintain the shape and size of the plant but also to prevent leggy growth. This hands-on approach to cultivation allowed me to actively engage with the growth and development of my Safari Sunset.

Propagating Success: Creating New Beginnings

As my fascination with Leucadendron Safari Sunset deepened, I explored the possibility of propagation through semi-ripe cuttings. The idea of nurturing new plants from the beauty of an existing one fascinated me, and I decided to embark on the journey of creating replicas of this botanical marvel. Propagating with bottom heat in summer became a part of my gardening routine, adding a sense of fulfillment to my horticultural endeavors.

Perfect Companions: Ideal Planting Locations and Garden Types

I found that Safari Sunset isn’t just a solo act; it harmonizes beautifully with various garden settings. Whether nestled in city and courtyard gardens, coastal landscapes, or cottage and informal gardens, its adaptability shines through. Its suitability for Mediterranean climates and xeriscaping further broadens its potential planting locations. Placing it in wall-side borders adds a touch of elegance and structure to the overall garden design.

Final Thoughts: A Lifelong Connection

In conclusion, Leucadendron Safari Sunset has become more than just a plant in my garden; it’s a companion in my journey of self-discovery through horticulture. Its vibrant blooms, resilience, and versatility have left an indelible mark on my gardening experiences. As I continue to nurture and propagate this exquisite shrub, I look forward to the ongoing chapters of my journey with Safari Sunset, a plant that has truly become a living, breathing part of my home and heart.

Before shipping your greenery we prepare them for their journey with proper hydration methods.  If your flowers appear sleepy and thirsty after their journey, it is absolutely NORMAL . Just follow these simple steps to ensure your greeneries have the proper care.

  • When your boxes arrive, it is important to get your greenery in water as quickly as possible. Open your boxes and remove any protective packaging, such as foam or paper.
  • Inspect your greens.*
  • Gather clean buckets or containers for your greeneries. Ensure your buckets or containers are very clean. We recommend rinsing them with warm water.
  • Fill the buckets or containers with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water. If flower food is available, follow the package directions for adding it to the water.
  • Cut any straps and remove greens from the box. Remove any rubber bands or plastic sleeves protecting the greens.
  • Remove any foliage that would fall below the waterline. Leaves below the waterline may cause bacteria to form, shortening the life of your flowers.
  • Using sharp flower shears or scissors cut stems diagonally under cool, running water. Cut about an inch off of each stem.
  • Immediately after cutting, place the stems in the prepared water.
  • Ensure that you have sufficient room in each bucket for the amount of stems you will be storing. Overcrowding may cause damage to stems and leaves.

Customer Reviews

Amazing textural and color accent - fall bride loved this so much!

We are in love with the Leucadendron. Wow what an addition to the bouquets and arrangements. Added a lot of visual interest.

We used these everywhere as a filler! They were very beautiful with great color variations from rich greens to deep wine.

Love this so much, we added it to everything. We even attached wire to the base of a single leaf so we could wire it in to some of the boutonnieres. They looked amazing!

How to Plant and Grow Leucadendron

These stunningly colorful plants brighten up any hot weather landscape.

  • Planting Tips

Pests and Problems

  • Propagation

Hailing from South Africa, leucadendron encompasses a large group of plants ranging from 4-foot-tall evergreen shrubs to 30-foot-tall trees. They're hardy in Zones 9-11 and have colorful flowers and attractive foliage. Laucadendron plants, also called conebushes, are low-maintenance plants once they are established.

Leucadendron Overview

Where to plant leucadendron.

Leucadendrons like humidity and good air circulation, so plant them in the open and avoid crowding plants together. They don't tolerate wet feet; in wet areas, they are best planted on a slope or mound or in a raised bed.

Select a spot with full sun and well-draining acidic soil. Leucadendron can only be grown outdoors in hardiness zones 9-11 , but they can be planted indoors or in containers that can be moved indoors in cold weather in other areas. They work well in drought-prone spots and are stunning as specimen plants. Smaller varieties are attractive in a border and provide long-lasting flowers and foliage for cut-flower arrangements.

How and When to Plant Leucadendron

Plant leucadendron in autumn or after the last frost in spring to give the plant time to establish before summer. Dig a hole twice as wide and deep as the nursery container in a sunny location. Add compost to the soil to improve drainage. Adjust the pH if needed to reach 6.0 or lower. Backfill the hole halfway with the amended soil. Remove the leucadendron from the nursery container, being careful not to damage the roots. Set it in the hole so it is at the same height as it was in the container. Continue to backfill the hole, pressing down with your hands to remove air pockets. Water the plant.

Leucadendron Care Tips

Leucadendron needs the right soil and atmosphere to grow, but it is easy for care for once established.

Leucadendrons grow best in full sun. The plants will grow in partial shade, but the blooms aren't as colorful without full sun.

Soil and Water

This plant needs fast-draining, acidic soil. (It suffers in heavy clay or high pH conditions.) To be safe, test your soil's pH with an inexpensive soil test kit. A pH of 6 or lower is best, but higher pH soils can be acidified with peat moss and sulfur.

To avoid foliar diseases, water plants at the base. If overhead watering is the only option, irrigate earlier in the day so foliage can dry before nightfall. Leucadendrons are drought-tolerant once the roots have established themselves, but they benefit from regular, deep watering. Allow the soil to dry somewhat between waterings. Mulch once a year to control weeds and conserve moisture.

Temperature and Humidity

Leucadendron needs warm temperatures. It usually doesn't survive cold or frost. Some varieties can survive a temperature in the 20s for a short time, but substantial damage to the plant is likely. It prefers a warm, humid environment and good air circulation.

This shrub is not a heavy feeder and usually doesn't require any fertilizer. If you do fertilize, use a product without phosphorous such as a 15-0-15 NPK ratio . For the amount to use, consult the product label directions.

In the spring, deadhead the spent blooms as they occur. After flowering is completed for the season, cut back the green stems so there are four sets of leaves remaining. Don't cut back as far as the woody stems, though, or no new growth will appear for the following season.

When pruning a leucadendron grown in a container or as a houseplant, wait until it is finished blooming and remove spent blooms and damaged or crowded foliage. Don't remove healthy stems that haven't bloomed. Prune the entire plant by up to one-third.

Potting and Repotting Leucadendron

Plant leucadendron in a container with good drainage. Fill it with a loose, well-draining potting mix formulated specifically for acid-loving plants. Put it in a sunny spot and fertilize it once a year in early spring with a low-phosphorous product. As a houseplant, it requires warm temperatures and a bright sunny window location to thrive indoors. When it is grown as an outdoor container plant, it must be overwintered indoors in all but the warmest environments. These plants can grow quite large, so look for one of the smaller varieties that top out at 5 feet or less for a manageable-size container plant. Repot once a year in spring.

This plant doesn't have pest and disease problems as long as it has good air circulation. The major concern for leucadendron is root rot.

How to Propagate Leucadendron

Propagate leucadendron using stem cuttings or seed.

Cuttings: Fill 1-gallon pots with vermiculite . Take 12-inch semi-ripe stem cuttings . This type of stem occurs toward the end of the growing season in most locations. Remove any foliage from the bottom half of the cutting, dip it in rooting hormone, and insert it into the vermiculite in the pot. Place the pot on a growing mat that delivers bottom heat and mist it daily or cover it entirely with a clear plastic bag to maintain humidity. Warmth and humidity are necessary for the cutting to root. When new growth appears, the cutting has begun to root; remove the plastic bag permanently.

Seed: Although the method for harvesting seeds from the more than 80 species of leucadendron varies, in general, the seeds are housed in cones that remain on the plant. However, only the cones of female plants contain seeds. Remove a cone and put it in a warm place to dry out. The cone may open on its own, or you may have to gently dismantle the cone with your hands. The seeds are usually covered with a husk that slides off easily. Fill pots or seed flats with moistened perlite. Sow the seeds on top, leaving small seeds uncovered and larger seeds lightly covered with perlite. Enclose the container in a clear plastic bag. Place the container in a warm area with some light but not full sun. When the seeds germinate, remove the plastic bag.

Seeds germinate best with warm days of 73°F-83°F and cooler nights of 68°F-72°F. After they germinate and develop root systems, the seedlings can be transplanted into individual pots or the garden. It takes three years or longer before they produce flowers.

Types of Leucadendron

'red gem' leucadendron.

Leucadendron 'Red Gem' is a bushy shrub with red-tipped green leaves that take on a bronze look in late fall. Striking red and yellow flowers decorate the tops of stems in winter and spring. It reaches 5 to 6 feet in height and width. Zones 9-10

'Safari Sunset' Leucadendron

Leucadendron 'Safari Sunset' is a large upright conebush with fine-textured foliage. Its showy yellow and red blooms are excellent for cutting. It reaches 10 feet tall and 8 feet wide in zones 9-11.

'Red Dwarf' Leucadendron

Leucadendron 'Red Dwarf' is a sport of 'Safari Sunset'. A chance genetic mutation caused this smaller version of the larger plant to have smaller leaves and deeper red color bracts that last until autumn. It grows 8 feet tall in Zones 9-11.

'Summer Sun' Leucadendron

Leucadendron 'Summer Sun' has a rounded growth habit that fits nicely in many gardens. It is covered in spring with spectacular blooms that are attractive, long-lasting cut flowers. The shrub grows 5 feet tall and wide in zones 9-11.

Frequently Asked Questions

Deer avoid eating leucadendron because the foliage isn't tasty to them, but if they are hungry, they might nibble.

No, leucadendron's roots aren't invasive, and the plant doesn't reseed.

Safari Sunset Flower: The Perfect Mix Of Beauty And Functionality

close up of a safari sunset flower in bloom

As the Safari Sunset Flower slowly opens to reveal its delicate petals, you can’t help but be mesmerized by its beauty. Each petal is a different color, with swirls of yellow, orange, and red radiating from the center.

In this post, we will go over how to care for it and some ways to use it.

beautiful flower of safari sunset close up

The Safari Sunset Flower is native to Africa and grows best in arid climates. However, it can be found in other parts of the world, as well. It’s a tough plant that doesn’t need much water to survive, which makes it perfect for those who don’t have a green thumb.

Read More >> Peperomia Clusiifolia: A Beautiful and Versatile Houseplant

The Safari Sunset Flower is a lovely addition to any garden, with its beautiful orange and yellow petals. However, this delicate bloom requires careful attention to flourish.

Here are some tips on how to care for your Safari Sunset Flowers:

In its natural habitat, the Safari Sunset Flower enjoys plenty of bright sunlight and warm temperatures. However, when grown in other climates, it may require additional light to bloom properly.

The best way to provide extra light for the flower is to use a grow light. Grow lights emit a broad spectrum of light that simulates the sunlight required for healthy plant growth.

By using a grow light, you can ensure that your Safari Sunset Flower receives the correct amount of light, regardless of the climate in which it is growing.

watering the yellow flowers with watering can

There are a few things to consider when deciding how often to water your Safari Sunset Flowers. The first is the climate you live in. If you live in a hot, dry climate, you will need to water your flowers more frequently than if you live in a cool, wet climate.

The second thing to consider is the type of soil you have. Sandy soil drains quickly and requires more frequent watering than clay soil.

The third thing to consider is the time of year. During the hot summer months, your flowers will need to be watered more often than during the cooler months of spring and fall.

Based on these factors, you should water your flowers every two to three days. However, be sure to check the soil before watering – if it is still moist, then your flowers do not need to be watered again yet.

In its natural habitat, the Safari Sunset Flower grows in deep, sandy soil that is rich in nutrients. This type of soil allows the plant to get the moisture and support it needs to thrive.

However, the Safari Sunset Flower can also grow in other types of soil if it is well-drained and contains enough nutrients.

If you are planning to grow a Safari Sunset Flower in your garden, be sure to choose soil that will provide the plant with the conditions it needs to flourish. The soil should also be rich in organic matter, such as compost or manure.

gardeners gloved hands fertilizing a flower in the garden

There is no definitive answer to this question, as it will depend on a few factors, including the type of fertilizer used and the growing conditions. However, it is generally recommended that Safari Sunset Flowers be fertilized every two weeks during the growing season.

If you are using a slow-release fertilizer, you may only need to apply it once every four to six weeks. It is important to test the soil before applying fertilizer to ensure that the plant is getting the nutrients it needs.

Too much fertilizer can harm the plant by preventing it from absorbing vital nutrients from the soil.

As always, it is best to follow the manufacturer’s instructions when applying fertilizer to Safari Sunset Flowers.

The correct spacing to plant Safari Sunset Flowers is 12 inches apart. This will allow the roots to spread out and establish a strong foundation. It is also important to give the plants enough room to grow and fill in.

If the plants are too close together, they will compete for resources and not thrive.

One of the most important things to do is to prune it regularly. This will help to encourage new growth and prevent the plant from becoming overgrown. When and how often you prune will depend on the type of plant you have.

For example, if you have a bushy plant, you may need to prune it every few weeks. On the other hand, if you have a more compact plant, you can get away with pruning it every month or so.

Propagating

To propagate the Safari Sunset Flower, start by taking a healthy cutting from an existing plant. Next, remove the lower leaves from the cutting and dip the cut end in the rooting hormone.

Once the hormone is evenly distributed, plant the cutting in a well-draining potting mix. Be sure to keep the soil moist, but not soggy, and provide bright, indirect light. Within a few weeks, you should see new growth emerging from the cutting, indicating that it has rooted successfully.

Practical Uses

Not only is the Safari Sunset Flower a beautiful plant, but it also has many practical uses.

red cotton rope dyed under sun light on washing line

The flower contains a natural dye that can be used to add color to the fabric. The flowers are typically dried and ground into a powder, which is then mixed with water to create a dye. Fabric is then soaked in the dye for several hours or days, depending on the desired color.

The Safari Sunset Flower is a beautiful and unique design that can be used as wrapping paper. The flower is composed of orange, yellow, and red petals that form a distinct pattern. The leaves of the flower are also used in the design.

The Safari Sunset Flower wrapping paper is made by combining these elements to create a stunning and vibrant wrap. This wrap is perfect for gifts that need to be wrapped in an eye-catching and beautiful way.

This wrapping paper is also eco-friendly and biodegradable, making it a great choice for those who are looking for an eco-friendly option.

Center Piece

The Safari Sunset Flower is a beautiful and unique centerpiece for any occasion. The orange and yellow petals add a touch of color to any table, and the long stem makes it easy to arrange in a vase.

It is also known for its pleasant fragrance, which can help to enhance the ambiance of any room. In addition, the Safari Sunset Flower is known to be a symbol of good luck in many cultures. As a result, it is often used as a centerpiece for weddings and other special occasions.

bouquet of flowers

This flower is a beautiful addition to any bouquet. Its deep red color is accented by yellow and orange petals, and its long stem makes it ideal for adding height and dimension to arrangements.

The flower is also quite versatile, looking equally lovely in both informal and formal settings.

Whether you’re creating a rustic arrangement for a country wedding or a sophisticated display for a black-tie affair, it is sure to add a touch of elegance.

Mood Booster

The flower has a long history of being used in traditional medicines, and recent studies have shown that it can indeed help to improve one’s mood. The Safari Sunset Flower contains compounds that act on the brain’s serotonin receptors, which are responsible for regulating mood.

In addition, the flower is also known to contain beta-endorphins, which are natural painkillers that can help to improve one’s sense of well-being. For these reasons, the Safari Sunset Flower is often used as a natural remedy for depression and anxiety.

When used in combination with other mood-boosting strategies such as exercise and therapy, the Safari Sunset Flower can be an effective tool for boosting mood and improving overall mental health.

This plant has a beautiful, fragrant blossom that is often used in potpourri. When dry, the petals release a pleasant smell that can last for months. In addition to being used as potpourri, the Safari Sunset Flower can also be used to make scented sachets.

Sachets are small cloth bags filled with fragrant herbs and spices. They can be placed in drawers, closets, or anywhere else you want to add a touch of natural fragrance.

safari sunset flower mini trivia info

This plant is a beautiful addition to any garden, with its delicate petals and bright colors. However, it is important to note that the Safari Sunset Flower is toxic to pets.

If ingested, the Safari Sunset Flower can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and difficulty breathing. In severe cases, it can even be fatal. As such, it is important to keep pets away from the Safari Sunset Flower and to immediately seek veterinary care if they show any signs of illness after encountering the plant.

The Safari Sunset Flower is the perfect mix of beauty and functionality. It is a low-maintenance plant that will thrive in any environment, indoors or outdoors. The vibrant colors of the flowers will add an element of beauty to any setting.

The sturdy stems and leaves will ensure that the plant remains healthy and beautiful for years to come. If you are looking for a versatile and stunning flower that requires little maintenance, then Safari Sunset Flower is a perfect choice!
