Hi, has anyone a recent experience with this hotel? Is is nice to stay there? Planning a family holiday with kids in May. Any other important remarks? I am grateful for any answers. I have just read the hotel reviews on TA. Thanks a lot.

Where are you planning to go in Greece? As you could take the ferry from Turkiye, this will give you some nice alternative options and an area to look at going.

...probably Chios if you really need to get to mainland Greece.

Or there are flights twice a week from Izmir to Athens in the summer with SunExpress.

Another time, train 4 pm TRAIN from here to Izmir airport. Flight via Athens and I was in the Kanavidis Grill house in Alexandroupoli before 9 pm!!

Another time: London to CHIOS via Athens, arrived Chios in time to have a doze in the camper van I'd left walking distance from the airport.

Most online forums are moderated by amateur enthusiasts, which is fine, but  TTP Forums  are better: they’re  moderated by a  professional with nearly four decades’ experience of travel in Turkey.

If I don’t know the answer to your question, I’ll do my best to find it for you. (Note that if you want  extensive trip-planning advice , the most cost-effective way is a  private consultation  by phone or email.)

By asking and answering questions in the public forums, we’ll help other travelers plan their trips: they can scan the forums, get answers, and really get a sense about travel in Turkey.

You can  scan and read the messages on the Forums right away:  click here !  To post a question or reply, you’ll need to  register , which takes  less than a minute :

Also read it is prohibited to take fresh or packaged food, fruit, eggs, meat, dairy products.

I was under the impression you could take as much baby food as needed, now I'm really stressed.

Has anyone been and knows if i can take her foods?

How much and what isnt allowed.

I doubt there'll be any concerns about baby food. Especially in your hold baggage.

May be an idea to split it between 2 cases if you can just in case one gets thrown around more than the other.

You could always pick some up at the airside branch of Boots at your departure airport for the journey (if you need to)
