Booking with Elgart
Whenever booking just flights or just flights and hotel separate, I almost always go through Fare Buzz. And when I book with you I ALWAYS only work with Elgart. Elgart is the most efficient, most kind and most respectful and professional representative there, and I say that because I have worked with others there and not gotten the same experience. Now I must let you know that when Elgart is not available there are 2 more representatives there that are back ups that I also will work with that pretty much have similar work ethics as Elgart and those 2 would be Dayton and Clinton. However, I prefer to only work with Elgart whenever I work with Fare Buzz!

Three Great Experiences with FareBuzz
Have worked with FareBuzz three separate complicated international flights for wife and self. Mr. Scott Kumar is creative, patient, price-conscious and a complete gentleman. When we missed a flight in Dublin last year, Mr. Kumar made heroic - and successful - efforts to rebook us (and with even better connections than our original flight). Excellent support for an unexpected change
Clients had a Christmas Markets cruise pulled out from under them because the vendor chartered the sailing. Accepting the alternative offered meant that they needed to make a substantial change to their flight arrangements. Fare Buzz did an excellent job changing their flights to new dates and new cities with minimal cost to the clients. One pair actually had no change fee! The support was truly amazing.

I was in a crisis with flight…
I was in a crisis with flight cancellations and reached out to Farebuzz. I was fortunate to speak with Elgart and he assisted me with booking same day flights. He was thorough and I truly couldn't have asked for better support. I have had to call Farebuzz customer service previously and things haven't went well. If I could make all transactions with Elgart I'd be more than happy to book future flights again!

Tracy made this SPECIAL!..After numerous attempts on line and even more by phone..(terrible connections, and being put on hold)..I finally reached TRACY in New York! Success with my $32,000 BOOKING!.. Just a party of 4. Tracy even arranged a small commission for me. I have other issues, not with Tracy for sure) The real test of this review.. If I actually hear back from someone about my not being able to access your booking website. and of coursse when to expect our commission.

When a travel agent makes a request to…
When a travel agent makes a request to a FareBuzz representative, they should attempt to assist while in the chat or on the phone- not direct them to the website the TA just stated was not operational. That would be nice and hospitable for TAs that desire to do everything on their own and only call when absolutely needed. Thank you.

Very professional and polite

Need details when finished booking
I appreciate the ability to quickly search for multiple options quickly and efficiently. I also like the different options for searching (departure time, arrival time, different cities for stops, etc). Once the booking was confirmed, I didn't like I couldn't access the detail of the flight. Everytime I click on the booking number, it takes me to a customer service query page. I had to go back through my emails to find the flight details that I just booked. That's why the three stars.

My customer called me out of concern
My customer called me out of concern. Farbuzz never mention they would contact customers if there spouses are booked for a flight even if the card holder is traveling and paid for the trip. This triggered a concern by customer and myself. Had we been aware and expected This experience it would have been better.

This was my first time booking with Fare Buzz as a TA and I had an issue with the system not taking the birthdates. I called and got a voicemail when looking for assistance. I did receive assistance from the chat agent who said there was a technical issue with the booking engine. She was able to book the airfare for me under my name so I would not lose my client.

Slightly disappointed but good customer service..
Calista was very knowledgeable and courteous. She put together a fantastic itinerary. However, I was disappointed with price that we received. Part of the flights costed more than the airline. You are supposed to give discounted tickets. Two of my people got cheaper tickets from another vendor.

The agent spend the time to research the flights and gave many options. He worked diligently and for many days to find the best solution for my client. I had issues booking a flight
I had issues booking a flight, due to the fact, that it kept timing out and I couldn't book the flight. I started a Chat with Daryl who was able to complete the booking successfully. I was then able to forward the reservation to the customer. I was very happy and satisfied with the help and service support that I received.

Please Simplify the Process
Elgart went above and beyond to handle my clients' reservations. BUT, we had significant issues getting them booked. This was not the first time we had issues with the Verification Team calls to the client to assure that there was no hacking. We understand the need for such in this day and age. There was also a delay in completing the booking due to what Farebuzz said was credit card company denial of one of the 4 charges, but the credit card company said was incorrect security code given on one of the 4 charges. Repeated calls to the client and repeated calls by the client to the credit card company made the process difficult. Am hoping you can find an easier way to book clients' flights.

Used farebuzz several times for domestic and international flights. The best is speak to them on telephone the online Approach is frustrating having an agent do the work is best ask the agent to give comparison between dates and airlines this is simple
“Travel Agent Here - Extremely Dissatisfied”
I just have to come on and give this review for Farebuzz. I had a client purchase a airline ticket 10 months in advance for a trip to Dubai for her grandson. When it came time to depart, member showed up to the airport and they told him he was a "no show" and cancelled his reservation because he flight left 8 hours earlier than the time provided on his reservation. Now, normally when there is a flight time change, the airline or agent will notify client of updated flight information but never once was there a change in flight time notice sent to either myself as the agent, nor the client. On top of cancelling the clients flight to Dubai, they also cancelled his return flight back to the US as well without any notification. So now the client was stuck in Dubai with no return flight back to the US and had to pay for both a to and from flight to Dubai. As the agent, I called Farebuzz and tried to work out arrangements to get the client back to the US and they just gave me the run around after admittedly confessing to the mistake on their part and the airlines part. However, they did NOTHING to rectify the issue for my client. As a result, my client had to purchase another round trip ticket to Dubai. At one point, Farebuzz just stopped contacting me as the agent trying to work to get my client back home and ultimately showed their lack of concern for my client. I am completed disgusted with the lack of customer service provided by Farebuzz. I do not recommend using this company if this is how they will service those of us bringing clients to their company and more importantly who treats their clients so distasteful. I have brought thousand of dollars to this this company through previous clients, I had a $12k transaction once with one single purchase and expected more from them.

I was planning a trip to Dominican Republic and mistakenly book flight to Punta Cana when is should have been Puerta Plata. They are charging me a $200 change fee for each person that will need to be paid when I redeem my travel credit (which is less their fees). I have one year to redeem from my original purchase date. And I must use it on the same airline and I must re-book through FareBuzz. I understand there is a cost associated with making a change, but my experience is that one is better off using these sites to find flights and carriers and then going directly to the carrier's site to make the booking. One has more options when experiencing a need to make changes. If you are looking for customer service that will make you feel like you are a moron, this is the place for you. A little more empathy and a lot less arrogance and smugness.
